what is rise?

RISE is a United Way of Merced County initiative designed to strengthen health and human service organizations by providing fractional staffing, shared systems, and hands-on operational support.

We don’t offer one-time trainings or toolkits. We provide people, infrastructure, and follow-through.

RISE exists because many organizations doing critical health work don’t lack vision or commitment, they lack time, staff capacity, and sustainable systems. Our model addresses that gap directly.

This program is currently sponsored by the Central California Alliance for Health.

How the RISE Model Works

A simple, repeatable process that builds real capacity through embedded staffing and shared systems.

1

Assessment & Onboarding

We identify strengths, gaps, and immediate priorities across finance, administration, marketing, and leadership readiness.

2

Custom Workplan

Together, we build a realistic roadmap aligned with your mission, capacity, and the current funding environment.

3

Fractional Staffing

RISE provides trained professionals—part-time or project-based—embedded into operations to help complete priority work.

4

Tools & Systems

We implement shared tools, templates, and systems that reduce duplication and professionalize day-to-day operations.

5

Ongoing Support & Coaching

We stay engaged—adjusting, troubleshooting, and strengthening systems over time so capacity sticks.

The result: reduced administrative burden, stronger infrastructure, and organizations that can focus on impact—not paperwork.
