Over the Edge is a high-adrenaline fundraiser where participants raise $1,000 for United Way of Merced County for the chance to rappel down the Tioga Apartments in downtown Merced. No experience needed—just courage for a cause!

This unforgettable event also features a community block party with food, drinks, music, and fun for the whole family.

There’s a $75 registration fee and a $1,000 fundraising minimum due by event day (August 30). Only those who fundraise $1,000 or more are guaranteed to rappel.

Nope! All training and safety gear are provided on-site by professionals.
Participants must be at least 100 lbs and no more than 300 lbs. Anyone under the age of 18 requires a parent or legal guardian’s signature on the legal waiver
Yes! Teams can fundraise together and the more you fundraise, the more rappellers you can add!!!!
No problem—nominate someone else! Rally your coworkers to raise $1,000 and send your boss, teammate, or that brave friend over the edge instead. It’s the ultimate team challenge. (and bragging rights are included).
We are partnering with Tioga-Sequoia Brewing Company, GSF Properties, and more to close down N Street between Main and 18th to bring you an all day block party with drinks, food, vendors, music and more!!!!!!
