United Way Chili Cookoff competition at UC Merced

Katie Unruh, assistant director of administration at UC Merced, reacts as she is declared
winner of the United Way Chili Cookoff competition at UC Merced Tuesday. (1-15-13).
It's the kick-off event for the United Way campaign. United Way and their Funding
Committee help fund local programs promoting health, education an financial stability.
Looking on in back row are judges Jorge Wario, principal cook at UC Merced,
Paul DiCicco, owner of DiCicco's, and John Jepson, of Merced, who won
the International Chili Society's (ICS) traditional red chili world title in 2011.
