indeed it's the only thing that ever has!"

Valley Crisis Center

Valley Crisis Center (VCC) of Merced County is a Domestic Violence and Rape Crisis Intervention Center. We are the only agency in Merced County that provides comprehensive services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. VCC's bilingual/bicultural staff is "on call" 24-hours a day, 365 days a year, to assist with emergency domestic violence and sexual assault incidents. Our strength is that we are the recognized leader and source of free assistance for such victims, including restraining orders and a safe house for those in immediate danger from their abuser.

Current funding is for the “Westside on the Road to Safety” program, providing increased access to resources for families who have experienced abuse on the Westside of the county. By providing transportation assistance to families in need of domestic violence and sexual assault services, we are keeping their families safe and out of harm.
