Golden Valley Health Centers

Golden Valley Health Centers is a private, non-profit organization established in 1972. Our team of doctors, behavioral health clinicians, dentists and other medical professionals are committed to providing quality, primary health care services to families in our service area – regardless of language, financial or cultural barriers.

Findings showed a need for a program designed to educate parents and provide a support network teaching parenting skills and how to keep the children healthy. Because the majority of patients are Spanish-speaking and very low income seasonal workers, Golden Valley designed the Puentes Program to teach parents using the prevention model to keep children safe, healthy, immunized and ready for school.
