Deaf and Hard of Hearing Service Center

The Deaf and Hard of Hearing Service Center (DHHSC) targets the deaf and hard of hearing community of Merced County by providing them community education in accordance to their unique communication needs, which includes American Sign Language.

Current funding is for a one year program, Deaf and Hard of Hearing Access to Safety and Health Education (DASH). It is a series of workshops on safety and health topics to deaf and hard of hearing individuals who need this information provided in an accessible format.
