Center of Vision Enhancement

With the collaboration of health care professionals, related service agencies, and civic organizations, COVE has established a Low Vision Clinic. The Low Vision Clinic is where an individual can receive help in dealing with loss of eyesight. Clients will be evaluated and provided with an individualized plan and services for learning to live with vision loss through: orientation and mobility training; developing skills to promote and/or maintain independent living; and guidance, training, and practice in the use of assistive/adaptive technology. The individual will be referred to existing services for which they qualify. The Center will provide the services not available through any other entity and augment any limitations of available services.
