The program funded by United Way of Merced County is “Soccer and Scouting”, an outreach program a for Hispanic youth and families designed to teach soccer skills while youth also participate as Cub Scouts (ages 6-10) in traditional Scout activities. Also, Boy Scout age youth ages 11-14 and Co-ed Venture age youth (ages 14-20) participate with their own age peers and also mentor to the younger Cub Scout youth.
