Boys and Girls Club of Merced County

The Boys and Girls Club of Merced County is a nonprofit agency providing outreach services and after school programs to Merced youth. Seeking different approaches to serve the needs of Merced area youth, B&GC utilizes a number of various resources, means and approaches. The Boys and Girls Club is in the process of developing a program designed to assist older youth in preparing to transition from youth into adulthood.

“Give Every Child a Chance” is the program being funded this year. The program provides one-on-one mentoring and includes a summer academic program with credentialed teachers; allows their students, and their parents, the opportunity to become successful in setting, pursuing and reaching their academic goals.
